MinuteFieldFor Hermes Agent 0.22.2
05Method & provenance

What this calendar calculates.

A browser-local rehearsal of selected Hermes scheduling functions. No agent connection, account, model call or live job is involved.

The engine

Native functions, a controlled clock.

MinuteField uses unmodified function bodies selected from Hermes Agent 0.22.2, commit d923a5eb487a17c0a68801bba9ef0f56c81040a8. The selection includes schedule parsing, timezone normalization, one-shot eligibility and next-run calculation. The adapter supplies the hypothetical current time and configured zone.

The Python functions run in a dedicated browser worker through Pyodide 314.0.7, using croniter 6.0.0, python-dateutil 2.9.0.post0, six 1.17.0 and pytz 2026.3.post1. Timezone data comes from that bundled pytz version. Runtime files are served by this same website, not fetched from an external package service during your calculation.

For each hypothetical successful run, the adapter adds your assumed task duration and uses that completion instant as the next reference. It returns up to 200 occurrences for each of at most four independent schedule strings. The 2000–2099 starting-year range and 256-character schedule limit keep inputs bounded.

The evidence

Checked against native examples.

The reference examples cover recurring and one-shot durations, natural weekday syntax, named cron fields, seconds, timestamp offsets, date-only inputs, completion drift and daylight-saving gaps and folds. Browser results were compared with the fixed native Python implementation in Chromium and WebKit.

That establishes agreement for the checked examples, not proof of every expression or every future release. The preview is pinned to a specific release. It does not read the version or timezone of your installed Hermes gateway.

Some native edge cases are deliberately visible. A nonexistent wall time retains its raw native return value while the calendar shows the normalized instant. A zero interval stops after one nonadvancing occurrence. A one-shot outside the native grace window has no next run.

The official release distinguishes stable 0.22.2 from unreleased main-branch work. Source references here use the stable commit. Last reviewed: October 15, 2026.

The boundary

Timing rehearsal, not an automation control plane.

No scheduler tick, process sleep, retries, error recovery, catch-up policy, queue contention, finite-repeat setting, manual run, prompt, skill, permission or message delivery is simulated. The browser does not execute schedule text as Python or shell code. It passes strings to the fixed parser.

The starting field asks when a hypothetical task is created. It does not configure a future-start feature in Hermes. Multiple rows represent separate comparisons, not a supported schedule array. A saved rehearsal contains settings for this site and cannot be treated as a Hermes job definition.

For ordinary cron expressions, tools such as Crontab.guru already provide useful explanations and upcoming dates. This calendar’s specific purpose is to show Hermes syntax and completion behavior together. The official dashboard is the appropriate place to manage actual jobs.

Privacy

Input stays in this tab
Schedule strings, labels and settings are processed locally. The calculation does not post them to a server. Closing or reloading clears unsaved edits.
Downloads are explicit
Save rehearsal creates a local JSON file containing the last calculated settings. Copy schedule places only that schedule string on your clipboard. Opening a snapshot reads the selected local file; it does not upload it.
Hosting still receives requests
Cloudflare hosts the site and receives normal request metadata such as IP address, path and browser headers. The site does not add analytics, tracking cookies or account storage.
Optional product links
WebTraceCheck and CleanTempMail links contain fixed campaign labels identifying this site and placement. They contain no rehearsal input. Those services have their own policies.

Who operates it

MinuteField is an independent software project. It is not affiliated with Nous Research or Hermes Agent and does not represent a former organization associated with this domain. The same operator runs WebTraceCheck and CleanTempMail; recommendations are optional and limited to the specific testing situations described in the field notes.

Corrections and accessibility reports: support@cleantempmail.com. Include the schedule, timezone and expected behavior only if they are nonsensitive; never send credentials or private job output.

Open-source notices: Hermes and Python package licenses, Pyodide license, and Python license. The downloadable engine archive includes the selected native functions and the adapter source.
